Group Iftar and Activities for Orphans in Idlib

The Elaf Relief and Development Organization hosted a communal Iftar for orphans at the Farouq Orphanage in the city of Idlib, as part of the Ramadan activities for the year 2026. This Iftar is part of a series of Ramadan initiatives aimed at providing psychological and moral support to children who have lost their families, and encouraging them to participate in the community and interact with their peers in a safe and loving environment

Nutritious Meals and Recreational Activities

The Iftar included the provision of complete and nutritious meals tailored to the needs of children in their growth stage, alongside entertainment programs and educational games, such as

  • Drawing and coloring competitions to enhance the children’s artistic creativity

  • Group and energetic games to encourage social interaction and build team spirit among them

  • Reading sessions and Ramadan stories to promote religious and social culture in an enjoyable way

Impact of the Initiative on Children

The activities had a clear positive impact on the children’s psychological and emotional well-being.
