Idlib’s Salvation Government Bans Events Without Approval
The Salvation Government in Idlib issued a ban on holding any event without its approval, following controversy over a Paralympic-themed event organized by the Banfsaj organization. The decree aims to regulate activities and enforce cultural and religious norms, based on a draft public decency law that restricts gender mixing, musical performances, smoking, and the display of certain goods to uphold local social standards.
